I currently manage the National Credit Team for StarTrack across two (2) sites in Tullamarine VIC and Minchinbury NSW and look after a team of 19 FTE including myself

I have had vast experience in the integration of business', leading people through change, resource modelling, restructuring, process improvement and system upgrade

My favourite part of my role is helping others grow and learn so they become better than yesterday

Why I volunteer on the AICM council/Goals as Councillor: I volunteer on the council as an opportunity to give back to the industry and to gain experience working with other members to help grow the brand

Achievements with AICM (inc how much time on council): I was awarded back to back Credit Manager of the year in 2013 & 2014

I have now been on the council for 10 months and have helped contribute to the AICM Golf Day and also provide sponsorship for one of the Trivia Nights

I ensure that I attend the annual awards night each year - I see this as one of the highlights of the year where people are recognised and rewarded for their efforts and achievements which is so important

Value I have gained through volunteering with AICM: Being part of a professional body, brushing shoulders and mixing with some extremely intelligent, passionate and innovative people and helping grow the brand and awareness of the AICM itself

My passions aside from Credit/work: I love spending time with my wife and two (2) boys - Family comes first and is number 1

My favourite past time is watching the NBA – American Basketball. I grew up playing basketball every day of my life and now enjoy following it. Whilst I have been to America I still have yet to witness a live game and my dream is to watch the NBA Finals

Why I volunteer on the AICM council/Goals as Councillor:
Organisations like the AICM don't operate at their optimum capacity without the input of volunteers. We get a lot out of the AICM so it's only fair that we put back in.

Achievements with AICM (inc how much time on council):  I was elected President of the NSW division just over 2 years ago & in that time have won the President's trophy, run very successful golf days & introduced many sponsors & supporters to the institute.

  •  I volunteer as a Councillor because I’m passionate about my career. I believe as a Credit Manager, I am tasked with the responsibility to help build successful careers for other credit professionals.
