Alan is a Registered and Official Liquidator, a Registered Trustee in Bankruptcy and a founding Principal of BRI Ferrier with 36 years’ experience in insolvency and corporate recovery. Prior to forming BRI Ferrier, Alan worked under its precedent, BRI Partners Adelaide.

A specialist in personal insolvency, Alan also provides company insolvency, business recovery, and investigative accountant services. He predominately works with small to medium sized business across the agribusiness, logistics, manufacturing, property, retail and tourism & hospitality industries.

STEPHEN FLAMER-SMITH, MANAGER LEGAL AND RECOVERY, BENDIGO & ADELAIDE BANK

Stephen is employed by Bendigo & Adelaide Bank Limited managing the legal recovery action on a significant portfolio of destressed investment loans.  Stephen has nearly 20 years’ experience insolvency, corporate recovery and civil litigation. 

In addition to managing and directing the Bank’s legal action for the loan portfolio Stephen manages the Bank’s exposure for the portfolio with insolvency practitioners around the country.  Stephen has been involved in litigation both with and against insolvency practitioners on behalf of the Bank.
