Accounts Receivable Officer

Job Description As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will manage credit and collections across a defined customer portfolio, including RCTI customers. You will ensure timely payments, minimise overdue debt, and support cash flow objectives while maintaining strong customer relationships. • Manage collections across a customer portfolio, resolving disputes and reducing overdue debt. • Utilise extensive experience with Recipient Created Tax Invoicing (RCTI). • Support cash flow targets by meeting KPIs and minimising bad debt risk. • Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and process credits or journals. • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve non-payments. • Monitor and escalate debt risks while maintaining accurate records. • Prepare reports and insights for account managers and finance leadership. • Ensure compliance with credit policies and contribute to process improvements. • Assist with ad hoc finance projects. Desired Skills and Experience • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role. • Strong experience working with RCTI (Recipient Created Tax Invoicing). • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships. • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools (desirable).
