Why I volunteer on the AICM council/Goals as Councilor:

Current Position: Managing Director /Owner

Employer: Trace Personnel Pty Limited

Commenced with that company: 1998

Credit/professional background:
I hold a passion for the people that make up the industry and what the AICM stands for which is why I have supported the Credit industry and the AICM in particular for over 21 years, from sponsoring nationally, NSW councillor and volunteering for ad hoc events. My business has been built on trusting and loyal relationships coupled with providing the credit/risk/debt management and associated industries with superior staffing both contract and permanent.

Prior to running Trace Personnel I spent 15+ years in the Hospitality industry working in 5 star venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Town Hall, Sydney Art Gallery, National Maritime Museum and Botanic Gardens Restaurant working primarily as Sales and Marketing Manager and Events Manager within the various venues.

Portfolio: Portfolio for the last 5 + years has been around the events be it evening or day networking on a range of topical issues
Larger events include the YCP, WinC, Credit Team of the Year and end of year events like the Pinnacle Awards evening
2002-2007 Membership & driving membership growth and services

Why I volunteer on the AICM council/goals as a Councillor: From my perspective when we first started Trace personnel it was a great way to meet and introduce the business to AICM – during this time people have come and gone however strong relationships have been formed and particularly now that I'm older I like to help with the Young Credit Professional Awards and WiNC. I am especially passionate about the "newbies" entering into the industry and having the curb appeal to pursue a career in credit.

Achievements with AICM: I became a councillor 10 years with involvement at council level and then when we first opened the business we were heavily involved in the sponsorship side of AICM.

Achievements for me have been mentoring YCP candidates and the induction of Women in Credit nationally – with the committee. It was a timely addition to the AICM portfolio of events to recognise women in the credit industry and the limitless possibilities they have.

Value I have gained through volunteering with AICM: Seeing results come to fruition from:
- hard work,
- WiNC,
- Mentoring YCP,
- Membership drives, and
- Business relationships – doing business with people you like - invaluable enduring friendships.

My passions aside from Credit/work: My sons & stepchildren and extended family and friends, Travelling – especially to Ireland and USA, fabulous food and wine (probably too much of both :-), walking and pilates
