Role Description This is a full-time, Associate role located in Sydney, NSW (with Hybrid work on offer 2 days WFH). The Associate will assist with legal matters related to debt recovery, insolvency, and commercial litigation. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, providing advice, managing cases, and appearing in court as required. The role also involves client relationship management, settling work for junior solicitors/paralegals, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining effective communication with clients and other stakeholders. Qualifications Ideally 3 years+ PQE in commercial debt recovery and insolvency matters Proficiency in legal research, drafting legal documents, and case management Strong client relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills Law degree and admission as a legal practitioner in New South Wales Experience using legal management software and advanced technology tools is an advantage A commitment to ethical practices, integrity, and a client-centric approach


Debt Recovery Officer

We are seeking a full time Debt Management Officer with proven experience in debt management and a strong ability to interpret financial information. The role requires confidence in reading financial statements and account ledgers, along with sound written communication skills. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of daily activity, including approximately 30 to 50 phone calls to debtors and 100 to 150 emails. The position also involves preparing accurate monthly reports for debt recovery agents and lawyers. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and provide effective leadership to staff. This is a solid opportunity for someone with a credit, collections or debt recovery background looking to step into a stable and well-structured role.
